Want to make a difference in the life of an immigrant?
LifeLine is seeking volunteers to assist Permanent Residents in becoming US Citizens through our Naturalization clinics.
Volunteers who are lawyers, former lawyers, paralegals, and people who have experience with immigration paperwork/documents.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients use a computer-based program to complete the N-400 application
- Assist in registration of clients and preparing applications for mailing
- Collect information and check documents to determine application completeness
Qualifications:
- Required training held on June 17th from 6-9pm
- A minimum of 6 months commitment strongly preferred
- 6-7 hours of monthly clinic sessions held on Saturdays once a month
- Language ability in Bilingual is a plus
- Must be able to clear CORI/SORI background check
